Thoughts on Writing

Writing as an art is very subjective, many times I don’t have any idea what will I write about. My ideas are not clear, many times I don’t even have an idea, but it’s something on the keyboard that when I start typing the words start flowing, the rhythm sets itself, and the words I write start to make sense. The simple art of just writing what you think and how you feel in the moment gives those words meaning, depth, and sound, you like what you hear in your head and want to hear more of the melody. You still haven’t got it enough. Isn’t that how you feel when you read a good book? you don’t want it to end. The melody has taken over you. You want to know what happens next, what’s on the next page; how you will react. Each page you read changes you, each word has the power to affect your sub- conscience. Fiction writing is more complex. Nonfiction has a pattern, research, write down the experience, polish it and publish it. Fiction, on the other hand, needs you to be in the mome...

My Inaugural Blogpost

For a long time, the thought of making a page to express my emotions and thoughts have captured my mind. Ever since I graduated my writing days were missed. The lockdown forced me to make an outlet for the world to see me. Writing does this in the purest form. I believe all the other ways are either vague or heavily filtered. But writing, even though edited or rewritten only serves the purpose of creating a clear message. I believe that good writing makes the reader forget that he’s reading. It takes the reader to a world that is so personal and vivid that Stephen King calls it telepathy. This blog is just the documentation of that journey. I am interested in many topics which will be the highlight of this blog. The blog will probably see a wide variety of topics that will evolve with me. Hoping to see you again and always. HOP ON!
